GA Snow affects traffic

Over 900 car accidents later and 6 fires (one including a Marta train.), GA interstates are still gridlocked. There are people still locked in their cars and places of employment as well as in schools. Places such as the Civic Center, restaurants nearby interstates and gas stations are still open for those seeking shelter. There are even a few civilians walking around the interstate giving away food and water.

Winter storm in GA?! ~List of school closings and late openings~

         OK NORTHERNERS before you go sucking your teeth calling us wimps, you all have to realize “US GA FOLKS DON’T DO COLD!!!!” We can barely do rain what makes you all we think we can do the cold. To make it even worse the ICE storm in 2011 that knocked EVERYTHING in GA out of business for a week really had us shaking. (Literally) I know I personally don’t want to be locked inside my house for that long again. WAL-MART even shut down. (Now you know how serious it was.) But now we are about to experience somewhat similar weather changes. Tomorrow we will have a high of 27 degrees and that still don’t count how it will feel with the heavy winds that will be blowing and making it feel like -15 degrees. I know for one am not liking the fact that I have to get up early in the morning to see the after effects of the snow that will be falling a few hours earlier. This is what FOX 5 Channel News had to say on their site. “The arctic chill rolls in later on tonight.
